Terms and conditions

To make the experience as pleasant as possible for all visitors to events organized by District East Events, the following house rules apply. Visitors who do not comply with these house rules and the General Visitor Terms may be denied access to District East events. District East will not be liable for reimbursing the cost of admission tickets or any associated service and/or other fees.

  1. Definitions

    • “Organization”: District East Events, registered in Groenlo (Chamber of Commerce: 64702847), and the person(s) authorized to organize an Event on its behalf.

    • “Event”: Any activity organized by the Organization, including but not limited to dance events, hospitality, and festivals.

    • “Visitor”: Any individual or entity who has validly purchased or received an admission ticket for an event organized by the Organization.

    • “Venue”: All buildings, spaces (whether covered or not), fields, squares, etc., forming part of the area where the event takes place, including parking areas and access routes.

    • “Admission Ticket” or “Tickets”: A (digital) document or barcode provided by or on behalf of the Organization granting access to a specific event.

    • “Consumption Tokens”: Tokens issued by the Organization that visitors can purchase for a fee set by the Organization and use as a means of payment at designated areas during the event.

  2. The general terms and conditions apply to all admission tickets and are therefore an inseparable part of all agreements regarding the sale, donation, and provision of tickets for events held at any location. By obtaining and/or using an admission ticket and/or entering the event venue, the Visitor accepts these terms and conditions. This also applies if the ticket was acquired through third parties.

  3. These terms and conditions also apply during the event and to all (subsequent) agreements made between the Visitor and the Organization (such as the purchase of consumption tokens, food, beverages, and merchandise).

  4. Access to the event is granted only upon presentation of a valid ticket. Only individuals aged 18 or older are permitted to enter. Entry may require proof of identity to verify the age restriction. Visitors under 18 will be denied access without any refund obligation. Admission tickets remain the property of the Organization and may not be resold or distributed for commercial purposes. Violation of this rule entitles the Organization to deny access and recover damages from the Visitor.

  5. The Organization reserves the right to frisk visitors prior to or during the event. Visitors refusing to comply may be denied entry or removed from the event without any refund.

  6. It is prohibited to bring or possess professional recording equipment, glassware, plastic bottles, beverages, food, drugs, cans, fireworks, animals, weapons, and/or dangerous items (including but not limited to aerosols or CS gas) onto the premises. Violators risk confiscation and removal from the event.

  7. Throwing drinks or objects is prohibited and will result in removal from the event.

  8. Visitors may only bring medication to the event if:

    • It is in its original, sealed packaging.

    • It includes the original leaflet.

    • Proof of necessity can be provided.
Failure to meet these conditions or in cases of doubt, the Organization may confiscate the medication without any obligation to compensate its value. Confiscated items will not be returned. Violators may be denied entry or removed from the event.

  9. Theft of the Organization's property will be reported to the police.

  10. It is prohibited to sell goods on or around the premises without explicit written permission from the Organization.

  11. The Organization reserves the right to deny access or remove individuals to maintain public order and safety during the event. Visitors displaying offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate attire, texts, or symbols may be refused entry or removed.

  12. Professional and/or commercial recording or reproduction of the event is prohibited without prior written consent.

  13. Attending the event is at the Visitor’s own risk. The Organization is not liable for damage caused by attendance, except in cases of gross negligence.

  14. The Organization aims to adhere to the announced event schedule but is not liable for deviations or resulting damages.

  15. Re-entry is not permitted without explicit permission from the Organization.

  16. Visitors must follow instructions from the Organization, venue operators, security personnel, and other authorized persons. Violators may be removed immediately.

  17. In cases of force majeure (e.g., artist cancellations, strikes, or adverse weather), the Organization reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event without liability for damages.

  18. Only in case of cancellation, admission fees (excluding service fees) may be refunded upon request.

  19. The Organization may record the event and use the footage without compensation to Visitors.

  20. Consumer-grade photography equipment is allowed. Professional equipment requires prior approval.

  21. Professional photographers must obtain valid accreditation from the Organization.

  22. Consumption tokens are only valid during the respective event and are non-refundable.

  23. Free toilet facilities are provided. It is strictly forbidden to urinate or defecate outside these facilities.

  24. In situations not covered by these terms, the Organization will decide appropriate measures.
